Panayiotis Andreou

Panayiotis C. Andreou is a Professor of Finance in the FMAS Department. He is a founding member and Chairman of the Financial Wellbeing Institute (FWI) and an Academic Associate of Financial Literacy in the Economics Research Centre (University of Cyprus). His research interests are in the areas of corporate and behavioural finance, asset pricing, green finance and financial literacy.

His research has been published, inter alia, in the Review of Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Critical Finance Review, Journal of Banking & Finance, British Journal of Management.

In December of 2020 he was appointed as a member of the Ad Hoc Committee of the Central Bank of Cyprus mandated to formulate the National Strategy for the Promotion of Financial Literacy and Financial Education in Cyprus.
