Learning Architecture

Five strands run through the entire degree.

The curriculum combines accounting, auditing, finance, data science, and research design rather than treating them as disconnected specialisms.

Data Science & Computing

Programming, analytics, statistical learning, and computational thinking are embedded from the first semester onward.

Financial Reporting

Students build fluency in financial and non-financial reporting, IFRS-based interpretation, and critical evaluation of disclosure quality.

Audit & Control

Auditing, internal control, taxation, and performance measurement support professional competence in assurance and governance contexts.

Financial Decision-Making

Financial management, analysis, and strategy modules connect analytical methods with real managerial and market-facing decisions.

Independent Research

The dissertation develops methodological rigour, originality, and reproducible analytical practice under academic supervision.

Semester III

The dissertation turns coursework into original inquiry.

During the final semester, students prepare a dissertation under the guidance of an academic supervisor. The process is structured but student-led: topic selection, proposal development, data collection, analysis, writing, revision, and final submission all take place within a clear academic framework.

The Study Guide emphasises close collaboration with the assigned supervisor, methodological consistency, and adherence to academic standards, timelines, and ethical expectations throughout the research process.
