Biography

Michael Michaelides is a graduate of Virginia Tech (MA and PhD degrees), the London School of Economics and Political Science (MSc), and the University of Essex (BA). He currently holds the position of Lecturer at the Department of Finance, Accounting, and Management Science of Cyprus University of Technology. Prior to his appointment at Cyprus University of Technology, he held faculty positions at universities in the U.S. His research focuses on topics of financial econometrics, notably forecasting, volatility modeling, and empirical asset pricing.
